Credit UnionThe University Settlement Credit Union is an important financial resource for all Settlement participants. It offers the services of a bank, including savings plans and loans, on site at the Settlement. And because it is owned by its members—the people who use it—the union's sole purpose is to meet members' needs. Loans are accessible to many low-income residents who might otherwise have a difficult time securing financing. While the Credit Union is open primarily to participants of University Settlement and the Door, it is not necessary to belong to either organization to take advantage of its services.
