News » University Settlement Featured as New York Nonprofit Agency of the Month! The October issue of New York Nonprofit Press features University Settlement as Agency of the Month. In addition to providing a great overview of the agency, the article includes a bit of the history of the settlement movement in the United States and a spotlight on the upcoming Settlement Summit: Inclusion, Innovation, Impact. This first-of-its-kind week-long conference starts on Monday, October 4, and it promises to be an engaging and enlightening experience for the more than 500 attendees, representing 300 different organizations from over 30 different countries. It also marks the celebration of three landmark anniversaries - University Settlement's 125th, United Neighborhood Centers of America's 100th and United Neighborhood Houses of New York's 90th.
