Days after a devastating fire on Grand Street displaced more than 200 people, University Settlement and several other LES organizations are continuing efforts to help those affected.

The items will be sorted by fire officials and eventually returned to tenants.



University Settlement is working with tenants, helping them navigate city and state red tape. In some cases, they're assisting them in filing property damage claims. They're also providing translating services, since the city does not have many Chinese translators.  University Settlement is also offering advice to tenants on their legal rights.
