News » Butterflies Program Focus of New York Times Story

Immigration reporter Nina Bernstein wrote an extensive article in the July 24 issue of The New York Times focusing on University Settlement's Butterflies Program (a mental health program for children under 5) and the work we do with Chinese parents and children who, for various cultural and financial reasons, are often separated during a child's early years.  Bernstein spent some time with the director of Butterflies, Andrea Bennett, and one of our bilingual therapists, Victoria Chiu, as well as a few of the families who have benefited from the program.  Click here for a link to the full story.

This article also appeared in the Asia Pacific and European editions of the International Herald Tribune (the global edition of the Times).
